Online Reading Endorsement Program
Program Description
The UThink program is a unique online learning system offered in partnership with Heidelberg University for affordable graduate coursework leading to a Reading Endorsement.Obtain your Reading Endorsement from Heidelberg University by completing four classes and passing the “Teaching Reading” Praxis Test (# 0204). UThink has partnered with Heidelberg University to offer classes and a delivery system specifically designed to provide convenient and flexible learning opportunities for educators. Classes will be offered every Fall, Spring and Summer semester.
Program Requirements
There are four online courses that are required for the Reading Endorsement. Foundations of Literacy, Diagnosis of Reading Abilities, Content Area Reading and Reading Intervention. The courses prepare educators to teach reading and literacy skills to kindergarten through grade 12 students. Coursework also prepares educators to implement the Common Core State Standards and meet state and professional standards.For further information, please contact:

Program Prerequisites
Reading Endorsement Courses and Sequence If you wish to complete coursework in two semesters, register for EDU 512 and EDU 515 in the first semester. In the second semester, register for EDU 513 and EDU 516..
